After a long time, we're finally able to show a demo of Xiao Shancha CVVCV Japanese DeepVocal! We are hoping to release 2 DeepVocal demos and 2 or 3 UTAU demos in total, but that depends on the results. Actually, this demo was supposed to release on Shancha's anniversary, but the song took a long time to produce. Instead, we commissioned Reishichi for an anniversary illustration instead, which also features her male derivative, Xiao Naidong! Back to the subject of the song, it's a cover of "Kumo ni Nattara", which was originally written by 40mP. The cover was handled by Migi and the mixing was done by Juoruky. The visuals were borrowed from the original version. The cover is also available on Migi's SoundCloud and bilibili accounts. The voicebanks are expected to release some time in 2022 or 2023, ideally the former. The UTAU version will use a brand new design while the DeepVocal version will remain the same.
We hope that you are looking forward to Shancha's new Japanese voicebanks!

A long while ago, Migi provided Miis of the JAE VOCAL PROJECT cast for the 3DS and WiiU. Now, with the new re-release of Miitopia for the Nintendo Switch, Migi provided updated Miis with the new wig and make-up styles available in this version! Like the previous versions, these are his own interpretations of the characters and is not meant to be the official canon. It is entirely optional to use them and everyone is entitled to creating their very own if they would like to! If you are interested in using any of them, use the following code to import them: 8GGJBT. To watch them in action, Migi has began streaming on Twitch and YouTube. All videos are archived on his new YouTube Channel that's dedicated strictly for streaming and non-vocal synthesis use. Check it out here!
Affiliate characters are also present in the game, but will not be accessible. Like JAE VOCAL PROJECT, these are only Migi's interpretations and are not official. There are some who are currently not available in the gameplay but will be in the future. The only affiliate who is distributed is Reicheru Nintone. Her owner actually made the Mii available on Twitter! We hope you like them and enjoy using them yourselves if you'd like! Today marks Xiao Shancha's 2nd anniversary and we've got a new song for you! What's more, it's not featuring one of her existing voicebanks: it's a demo of her upcoming Mandarin voicebank! The song is "千里邀月" by 纯白P and 千月兔. It was covered by MinaKi (using jerrybowang's UST) and uses the original video. The demo is also available on SoundCloud and bilibili! Shancha's Mandarin voicebank was recorded in the summer of last year and was developed throughout the fall by Ryan-kun. This language is planned to be made available for both UTAU and DeepVocal, with UTAU using Shancha's default design by Purpled (as it was always intended to be for Mandarin) and DeepVocal using a different "boxart". While we are hoping to release this in 2021, it's possible that Shancha may need re-recordings and adjustments to her oto. In addition, we do have other projects to try to finish and release (such as Xiao Meihua's CVVChinese update). Because of these reasons, it's possible Shancha could be pushed back to 2022 or later.
In addition, because it's still February, the discount to Canary's and Shancha's keychains are still ongoing on Storenvy! In our haste, we would like to make a correction to the previous news post. Xiao Naidong, Shancha's male derivative, would also be receiving this discount as he would be sharing the same birthday as Shancha. We are only halfway through February, so if any of these three characters interested you, now would be a good time to get one while they're still discounted! Thank you all for supporting JAE VOCAL PROJECT and for sticking with us for so long! We can't wait to show you what else we have coming up! Until next time! Today, Migi uploaded a new cover and demo song for StarRise Project's DeepVocal character: Novallus Moondancer! Novallus is the second vocal entry of the series and would be released later in the year. The song was a cover of "Star Mate", which was originally written by 40mP. MinaKi was credited for the mixing, Parapa-kun handled the illustrations, and dzktd was the video editor. The UST was created by lanttu. This demo is available on YouTube, SoundCloud, and bilibili. In the PV and harmonies, Seishi Starchaser, Xiao Meiye, and a new character were featured (while X-Y-R-3-N was a visual cameo only). This new character is Xiao Naidong, Meiye's younger brother! This cover used DeepVocal voicebanks only, so Xiao Shancha and Meihua were both adjusted in the GEN parameters of the software to achieve "Naidong and Meiye's voices".
More information about Naidong is available on our website and on UTAU Wiki. Like the other characters, fans can also download his official Mii for the Nintendo systems. We hope you enjoy the video and Naidong! Until next time! It's been a while since we had a post dedicated just for website updates, but we've finally implemented them! What's been changed? For starters, there was an idea of some other members of the cast. Since September 2015, Xiao Meihua was the only one with official accounts. She had an official Facebook and an official Weibo before both were taken down and repurposed. The only account she had left was Twitter. Now, she is no longer the only one. Starting this past Monday, three new accounts have been opened. Like Meihua, they are available for people to interact and roleplay with if they wish. The accounts belong to Xiao Meiye (@MeiyeLikesBooks), Xiao Shancha (@BroodingShancha), and Yu Junjie (@JAE_YuJunjie)! Each of their accounts can be accessed through the characters' webpages. For Meiye and Shancha, the accounts can also be found in the external links of their UTAU Wikia pages and on VocaDB. Junjie is still an upcoming vocal, so he does not have a Wiki page nor a VocaDB entry yet. As the title also implies, this blog is also about our new policies. The policies are in regards to the JAE VOCAL PROJECT cast's terms of use. You can now find a new rule about unofficial accounts and roleplaying. When you look through the characters' webpages, you'll notice that each one has a different rule about roleplaying. It is important to pay close attention to each. Some of the characters allow roleplaying, unofficial accounts, and ask blogs if permission was granted by a member of JAE VOCAL PROJECT, while others may allow these if the manager of the character gave permission. Only one forbids these accounts entirely. Please be aware of which character falls under which category. Things have been quiet for JAE VOCAL PROJECT as of lately. The members are working as diligently as possible, but with school and work upon us in real life, things will be slowing down for a while.
We are still currently expecting the following to release soon. This may not be the set release order:
We hope you are all looking forward to these releases! Thank you for reading and for your support of JAE VOCAL PROJECT! |
