Today is November 13, 2020, which means that we are releasing Yu Junjie! Like Xiao Shancha, he was meant to be a bilingual vocalist capable of singing in Japanese and Mandarin Chinese, however, the Chinese voicebank was halted due to DeepVocal's launch. We prefer that we rerecord him so he could be used in DeepVocal effectively. Junjie was voiced by Providence Polyglot and his character is managed by Migi. While you may know of his default design by Purpled, that is intended for his Chinese voicebank. Since we are releasing his Japanese, MinaKi gave him a new design and the final illustration was by Shi-Yin! For his alternative designs, we decided to base the color schemes on birds. For Japanese, his colors are based on crows and ravens. Without further ado, below is the crossfade for his voicebank release~! There are four songs in all and his voicebank was developed by Purpled! We hope that you like him and be sure to tag us if you decide to use him! We would love to see what people would do with him! As a reminder, be aware that Junjie has a stricter Terms of Use clause compared to the rest of the cast, so please abide by them. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us!
It's been a long four years, nearly five, since Xiao Meihua released and we finally made it to the last member of JAE VOCAL PROJECT~! We currently have no plans to add more, so for now, we hope you enjoy the seven's content! Thank you very much for supporting us all this time! Be sure to check in tomorrow for another video!

As you all already know, Xiao Meihua is expected to release with a CVVChinese vocal for both UTAU and DeepVocal. Two DeepVocal demos were already made available for viewing. This time, we are now showcasing what the new Sweet voicebank sounds like in UTAU! The song we chose was "勾指起誓" by ilem and we reused the PV by PinoEliza. The cover was done by kimchi-tan and the mixing was by MinaKi. Pokeluver223 created a cute MMD image of Meihua using OSformula's model! The song is available on YouTube, SoundCloud, and bilibili. Three demos remain for Xiao Meihua CVVChinese before she can be released. Two of them are for DeepVocal while one is for UTAU. Although it's possible we could release her in 2020, it might be likely that she will be available in 2021.
We hope you're looking forward to her in addition to other plans we have for the rest of the cast! After nearly a year since the DeepVocal version's release, we are finally releasing the UTAU version of Xiao Meihua CVVCV Japanese! For UTAU, she was developed by Kale and peYton, while still being voiced by Migi. Her illustration was done by Reishichi! The crossfade consists of four songs covered by Karasuhana, MinaKi, Kowareta, and Marukun! We hope you enjoy Meihua's updated Japanese voicebanks! If you still want to use her CV 1.0 version, it is still available for download via UTAU Wiki. If you use her, please show us! We would love to see the results!
We have new merchandise available on Storenvy: 4 double-sided keychains with front-side glitter epoxy! These feature the first characters of JAE VOCAL PROJECT, each with a distinct design: Xiao Meihua (DeepVocal), Ser0 (3rd Anniversary), Canary (UTAU Japanese 1.0), and Xiao Shancha (DeepVocal). The art was illustrated by Melody (@faynatical). A few specials are offered for these keychains:
Please keep in mind that due to COVID-19, shipments may be delivered later than usual. In addition, for overseas customers, please refer to this website to see if shipping services are available from the USA to you!
Want to see these as stickers, buttons, and more on Redbubble? Well, we will be making these available later. From now on, keychain designs that are also perfectly compatible for Redbubble will be made available after about at least three months since their initial debut, but you can always purchase them as keychains after that unless it's been decided to retire them. We have many more merchandise ideas circulating, but we can't show them to you just yet. For now, we hope you like these keychains by Melody! Today, Migi uploaded a new cover and demo song for StarRise Project's DeepVocal character: Novallus Moondancer! Novallus is the second vocal entry of the series and would be released later in the year. The song was a cover of "Star Mate", which was originally written by 40mP. MinaKi was credited for the mixing, Parapa-kun handled the illustrations, and dzktd was the video editor. The UST was created by lanttu. This demo is available on YouTube, SoundCloud, and bilibili. In the PV and harmonies, Seishi Starchaser, Xiao Meiye, and a new character were featured (while X-Y-R-3-N was a visual cameo only). This new character is Xiao Naidong, Meiye's younger brother! This cover used DeepVocal voicebanks only, so Xiao Shancha and Meihua were both adjusted in the GEN parameters of the software to achieve "Naidong and Meiye's voices".
More information about Naidong is available on our website and on UTAU Wiki. Like the other characters, fans can also download his official Mii for the Nintendo systems. We hope you enjoy the video and Naidong! Until next time! Yu Junjie's first demo is finally here! It's "Dare mo Shiranai Happy End", an original by 40mP. The cover and mixing was done by karasuhana, using the UST by azumibird. This cover is available on YouTube, SoundCloud, and bilibili. This demo features Junjie's CV Japanese voicebank that is expected to release in November 2020! Three more demos are planned, but we're unsure if they'll be available prior to his release.
For now, we hope that you enjoy his voice and are looking forward to the other demos!
It was decided to release the full version of "And I Fell" early! Normally, we try to schedule videos around a week apart, but we figured it would be okay to do this two days after the release of Xiao Meihua's English voicebanks. Plus, we were too excited to delay it further! Please keep in mind that the video credited to "SlightlyShredded". The reason for this is because the video was completed far before MinaKi changed his name to what it is now.
Full credits
The song is also available on bilibili.
With that, this wraps up all of the planned songs and videos in our queue. It's been a long two months full of one video after another! Any new uploads are a mystery and a surprise, even to us!
See you next time, whenever that may be! After nearly a year since debut, we are finally releasing JAE-01: Xiao Meihua's Arpasing English voicebanks! To review, she was voiced by Migi, designed by Purpled, illustrated by Riisago, and developed by bluCitrus. The crossfade consists of three songs: two are cover songs you've heard before and the third is a new original by MinaKi and peYton, which will be making its debut as a full song soon! For now, we hope you enjoy Meihua's newest voicebanks! If you use her, please show us! We would love to see what you've done!
Until then!
Today, we released a new demo for Xiao Meihua's DeepVocal package! This time, it's for her Sweet voicebank and it's a cover of "9Bang15便士" by ilem. The tuning was done by Migi, with Marukun's help via MIDI. MinaKi mixed the song and tobi illustrated the thumbnail image, which also makes its appearance in the video as well.
This cover is available on YouTube, SoundCloud, and bilibili.
Two more DeepVocal demos and two UTAU demos are expected for this update. It's possible that they may not be available in full until after her DeepVocal release.
We have some special surprises in the next two weeks! We will be making a quick announcement on Twitter some time before Friday, June 26, so be on the lookout for that! Until then, we hope you enjoy this demo! JAE VOCAL PROJECT is excited to announce that we have a new affiliate after mutual discussion: Crusher and her vocal synth character Maki Watase! Maki was introduced as an UTAU character and later developed for DeepVocal! She's been available to the public for a very long time and made her debut in 2009, which was over 10 years ago!
We are very honored to have Crusher as an affiliate and looking to working with her in future! In the meantime, please feel free to view Maki's website, UTAU, and DeepVocal wikis for more information and usages! |
